Our 3 pods are off grid & 2 berth. There is no TV, no Wi-Fi and probably no mobile signal. But each pod has books and games and a beautiful view to enjoy.
All our pods have 12V lighting and a USB charging point. The solar panels provide adequate power to keep the lights on, but once the battery is flat…its flat.
An ideal place to relax and unwind, go for a walk or read a book. Harmony.
We have set up the site with sustainability and the conservation of resources in mind, to have minimal impact on the environment.
There are NO HOT-TUBS. We have NO Wi-Fi. We do not have any showers.
As our water comes from a bore hole, we decided not to have hot tubs and showers. Drinking water is provided in bottles and the sinks are fed by cold water containers that can be refilled near the car park. Water can be warmed in the kettle for washing. Wastewater from the sinks goes into a soak away, as does the wee from the toilet. The solids from the toilet will be composted, along with the food waste. Almost all rubbish is recycled.
There is access to a communal fridge/freezer, cool bags and freezer blocks.
You will find us half a mile down a rough farm track off a small B – road. Our farm track is not suitable for large vans or cars with a low ground clearance. There is a 100 – 200 metre walk to the pods from the car park along a gravel path. The path has a slight incline through open ground, so please bring sturdy footwear. Our weather can be quite changeable, so please come prepared with good waterproof coat and trousers. The path is quite exposed until you get to your cosy pod. We can provide a wheelbarrow if you have lots of bags.
Each pod has a double bed, wood burning stove, double gas burner and an ensuite composting toilet and small vanity hand basin. All pods are strictly non-smoking.
We have one pet friendly pod which is suitable for well-behaved dogs. Dogs must be kept on a lead as we are in a nature reserve. (Max. of 1 dog, as pods are compact). Dog poo bags are provided.
Sett is our pet friendly pod with a 4’6″ double bed, drop leaf table and 2 chairs. You will need to bring your own dog towels for cleaning your pet. Pets are not allowed on the bed, so please bring your dog bed as well.
Burrow has a small 4′ double bed, a drop leaf dining table and 2 chairs.
Den has a small 4ft double bed, a two seater sofa & small coffee table
Each Pod Sleeps 2 and the following is included:
- Double bed & bedding & cosy blankets
- Ensuite bathroom with composting toilet & small vanity sink
- Two towels, 2 flannels, compostable toilet paper & body wash suitable for a soak away.
- Campervan style double gas burner & sink
- Pans, Crockery, Cutlery, Mugs, Glasses, Kitchen utensils
- Stove top Kettle
- Welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar & condiments
- Tea towels, eco scourers/cloths, recycled kitchen roll, washing up liquid & cleaner suitable for a soak away.
- Wood burning stove (firewood, fire lighter & night briquette to get you started)

Extra firewood can be purchased on site. Due to DEFRA stove regulations you can only burn wood purchased on site.
